Item #: BRTR for Ruger 10/22 Announcement April 29, 2008: New factory-made trigger housings, triggers, and extended magazine releases are now made of polymer, while all other parts remain steel. Polymer is the same housing material used for the factory BX-1 magazine. Weight is 1.9 oz. versus 3.6 oz. Fit, finish, and quality is high. Hornet Custom will continue to use earlier specification aluminum triggers and magazine releases while the supply last. Sample of black and silver trigger housing below:

If you have been dissatisfied with the 6-8 pound trigger pull that came with your rifle, this customized trigger assembly may be perfect for hunting & target shooting.
The crisp trigger release is only 2-3/4 pounds.
Each Hornet Trigger Guard Assembly has been carefully fitted, lubricated, and tested before shipment.
What makes it special are the custom replacement parts included in the assembly.
Easy drop-in installation. No special tools needed. Instructions included.
After the stock is removed, two cross-pins attach the assembly to the receiver.
Drift them out, drop the old assembly, and reassemble in reverse order. It can be done in less than 5 minutes without experience.
