For Volquartsen Barrels and Green Mountain Barrels drilled & tapped for a barrel mount. The matching base and Burris Signature Zee rings are ideal for these barrels. Weighs only 6.3 ounces. There are several advantages: 1) Because it is mounted to the barrel and not to the receiver, the axis of the bore and the scope are aligned. This means little adjustment of the windage and elevation adjustments on the scope will be required to zero the scope. 2) The barrel may be removed from the receiver for cleaning without losing your zero as receiver mounts do. 3) Special nylon Burris rings inserts self-align and grip 1" tubes tight without leaving ring marks. 4) Large mounting screws and hex wrench are included.
